Food Assistance Program
Pet food during times of difficulty
Our food assistance program is aimed to support TCR adopters with pet food during times of financial difficulty. As a volunteer run program, all of our pet food is donated to us by members of the community. Food availability is limited to how much food we have received.
When possible, we drop off cat and dog food at Weston Area Emergency Services, Fred Victor Shelter and OASIS Food Bank as well as other across the city. To inquire about the availability of our pet food supplies, please contact info@torontocatrescue.ca

Other pet food drive programs
There are several other food assistance programs (general and pet-focused) available.
Toronto Humane Society
Visit Toronto Humane Society at 11 River Street, Toronto during their operating hours and speak with one of our staff members or volunteers at the front desk.
The Daily Bread Food Bank
On occasion, the Daily Bread Food Bank may have pet food available. Please contact them directly for more information at www.dailybread.ca, or call them at 416-203-0050
