What a difference a few months make! We received a fantastic update on one of the North Bay hoarding cats, Dandelion (now called Samedi) adopted in Oct.
"After only a few weeks of hiding, and another month of sleeping only with me, and almost never leaving my room, where he ate and used his litter box, he has turned into quite a cuddly guy. We really didn’t expect that at 13, he would progress past being tolerant of us. And while we were pretty sure our level headed dog would not be a threat, Samedi definitely was not sure.
Now, he purrs all day, talks to the whole family, and he and our dog are cuddling. Once I figured out he speaks French, he progressed really fast.
