#HAPPYTAIL Milo
We always love a great #HappyTail update when our foster kitties are out in their forever homes - and this one about Milo, formerly Momo, warms our hearts 😻
Forever mom Lorissa sent us this lovely update:
"Milo was shy of course to start but has steadily come out of her shell and now is incredibly curious and fearless, runs around the house with gusto in the morning and evening and climbs/jumps everywhere possible. I have actually never seen a cat so playful and rambunctious and able to entertain herself with toys, scratching pads and also paper bags on the floor that she enjoys creeping in and out of; she likes the noise. She demands at least 2x/day wand playing sessions and is endlessly fascinated by anything feathery.
She is also getting more comfortable with us. She doesn’t like to be touched, so we have just been patient and let her come to us. She follows us around all the time though, even into the bathroom, and likes watching whatever we do. She’s gradually come closer and several weeks ago she sat on my lap for the first time and I was so happy. She’s done so a few times and once let me gently stroke her. So now she will generally climb on us so long as she initiates it. It may be that she is generally touch-averse and does not love being petted and that’s ok. She does this rolling around thing when she is excited and happy and maybe that is her form of self-soothing. Or maybe she’ll gradually come to want more contact. Still hoping to hear her purr.
Anyway, she makes us smile every day and I couldn’t imagine the house without her, feel very lucky that we found our beautiful Milo. I will send a bunch of pictures."
