Free behavioural support for TCR adopted cats
Behaviour issues are the leading cause for the overwhelming number of cats being surrendered by their owners. Fortunately, most of these problems can be resolved once owners are equipped with the proper knowledge and support.
Toronto Cat Rescue’s post adoption program is a free consultation service for anyone who has adopted a TCR cat and is experiencing behavioural issues, questions, or concerns.
How it works

Inquiry and Planning
If you are experiencing behavioural issues with the cat you adopted from us, you can fill out our Toronto Cat Rescue Post Adoption Issue & Pet Retention Inquiry Form. Once we receive your inquiry, our Behaviour Counsellors will gather information about your situation and work with you to create an individualized behaviour modification plan.

Additional Guidance
When your individualized behaviour modification plan is made, our Behaviour Counsellors will then be available to provide additional guidance and advice as you actively put the plan into motion.
Only TCR adopted cats are eligible
This service is only available to cat owners who have adopted cats directly from Toronto Cat Rescue. If your cat is eligible, please fill out the Toronto Cat Rescue Post Adoption Issue & Pet Retention Inquiry Form
