Kay Brenders

Kay cares deeply about the planet and the protection, welfare and conservation of all animals, with a very special place in her heart for cats. Kay has been involved with TCR since 2019, and brings 30 years of leadership, management, strategic communications, policy and program experience, developed as a senior executive in the public, non-profit and private sectors. Working to facilitate understanding, collaboration and positive outcomes is what fuels her desire to make a difference. Kay and her husband share their lives with their three rescues, a lovable tabby, named Tabitha and her joyful puppy siblings, Cosette and Dax.
