Thank you for a great virtual bowl-a-thon!
Yesterday, August 8th, we held our 16th Annual Bowl-a-thon...but this year it was a little different!
Due to social distancing rules, we were not able to gather in a traditional bowling alley, so we decided to go virtual! We challenged our participants to get creative and "bowl from home" and they definitely stepped up to the challenge!
Some bowled on the beach, some in their backyards and some with their Wii's. And a few kittens and cats even got in on the action. Even James, our oldest bowler who just turned 90 (!!) joined in the fun.
Donations are still coming in and will be open for another couple of weeks, but right now we have raised almost $17,000 which is a lot of spay, neuters and vet care!
