Breaking News: Double your impact, save more cats on #GivingTuesday
We desperately need your help to rescue 100 cats at immediate risk before Christmas. We can’t do these rescues without you.
#GivingTuesday has come around once again and this year we are hoping to double the impact we had last year! Our friends at the SPA Quebec shelter in Beauceville have reached out to us – they are once again overwhelmed with cats and kittens in their shelter. Today we are launching a campaign to raise $12,500 before midnight tonight in order to fund an urgent rescue of 100 cats, in two separate rescues. Toronto and Kitchener Waterloo have always opened up their hearts and homes for these adoptable cats and kittens and we want to find them forever homes before the Christmas holiday. But we can’t do this rescue without you.
For these cats and kittens, we are their last chance. The shelter cannot accept new arrivals due to overcrowding and will be forced to euthanize if they are unable to move these precious lives to a new location. Please consider making a donation to sponsor one of these cats in need. Each cat will require a basic physical exam and rabies vaccination upon arrival in Toronto. And we know from experience that there are bound to be other unforeseen medical costs - we recently undertook a smaller rescue and every single cat ended up needing additional medical services. We need to raise a minimum of $12,500 for this rescue before we can make the final decision about whether we can once again answer the call for help.
