Sonia adopted Toby from TCR in 2018 and had an amazing experience working with the incredible volunteers. Sonia is a community engagement and fundraising professional, passionate about building communities and seeing programs and projects through. Sonia holds her Master's in Leadership & Community Engagement and Certified Fundraising Executive designation. As a fundraiser with 8 years’ experience working for various non-profits, Sonia has exceeded fundraising targets for causes including: health care, post-secondary education, humanitarian aid and the arts. In addition to avid mentoring, Sonia is passionate about climate justice and advocacy and is Vice-Chair position at the Community Climate Council.
