Slippers’ Happy Tail

Sharon was volunteering for TCR as a Store Volunteer. Slippers, formerly Sorbet, came into the store and pressed his cheek against the glass, and Sharon placed her palm on it to greet him. The two of them had an immediate connection.

Slippers came from a 60+ cat hoarding situation. When Shippers was adopted, he was scratched up, and his fur felt brittle. He was skittish and wasn’t a fan of affection.

Over time, his spirits perked up, he became much healthier and plump, and his fur was much softer. He grew into a talkative drama queen who demands belly rubs and chin scratches.

We love it when one of our foster cats finds the perfect forever home!
