Cagney’s Happy Tail

We are sending an extra Happy Tail this week to bring an update on one of the OSPCA cats from Northern Ontario that we brought into TCR a few weeks ago. As you may remember, these cats came down from Dryden as the shelter there was experiencing some overcrowding issues.

When Lacey arrived, she was just the sweetest, wandering the room, checking on the kittens and generally just being a love bug. After a little time to rest and recuperate from her journey, she went up for adoption at our PetSmart Kennedy Commons Adoption Centre where luckily the perfect family found her.

Since arriving at her forever home, Lacey, now known as Cagney has been settling in great. She spent her first night under the bed but came out the following day and hasn't gone back under since. She's been spending most of her time in her cat tree but comes out and explores from time to time.

Overall it's two thumbs up from everyone on this adoption! Thank you to her forever family for welcoming Cagney into their lives!
