A Purr-fect Run for the Cats

Celebrating our Toronto Waterfront Marathon Runners!

This year, we’re thrilled to celebrate an incredible achievement for Toronto Cat Rescue as 50 amazing supporters ran in the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon, all in support of our mission to rescue and re-home cats in desperate need. These amazing runners not challenged themselves to run the race but also helped us raise vital funds for the cats in our care! 🙏

More than 25 of our runners proudly wore TCR marathon t-shirts, showing their love for the cause with every stride. And so far our marathon team has raised almost $14,000! This incredible contribution will go a long way toward supporting our rescue efforts and helping us rescue more cats this year!



But the race isn’t over just yet - donations are open until November 18th, so there’s still plenty of time for supporters to donate and help us reach our fundraising goal.

Every dollar raised from this event will go directly toward our life-saving rescue work.

At TCR we rescue and find furr-ever homes for over 2,500 cats each year, many of whom require expensive medical treatment and ongoing care. These funds are crucial to covering the costs of expensive veterinary procedures, medications, food, and other essential care for cats in our foster and rescue programs.

Your donations help give these cats the second chance they deserve, ensuring they get the medical attention and loving homes they so desperately need ❤️
