Bidisha Mukherjee

Staff | Intake Coordiator

Bidisha is graduate in human rights and foreign policy who found her calling after volunteering at US animal shelters, which led to a rewarding 10-year career in the shelter industry holding various roles.

With a background that includes two years at a AZA accredited zoo, Bidisha is passionate about animal behavior and holds a CSB-C certification from IAABC.

She has been volunteering with Toronto Cat Rescue as a Behaviour Counselor since September 2023. Residing in the GTA with her tuxedo boy, she also fosters dogs and cats. Outside of work, Bidisha enjoys hiking, cooking, and macro photography, capturing the intricate beauty of nature.
