Goal
Ensure TCR foster cats are placed in a loving forever home.

Help Us Make a Difference
Are you interested in helping cats and kittens find their forever homes? Do you like engaging with the public? Then this might be the volunteer role for you! Become a TCR Adoption Counselor today!

Adoption Counselors speak directly to the potential adopters over the phone and interview (or screen) adopters to ensure they are a good match for the cat they are asking about. This is a role that is performed every day for a small amount of time. You will receive inquiries daily and have 24 hours to follow up with them, this can be done whenever you are free during the day.

This may sound like a lot but not to worry - of course there is a team, so if something falls during a hectic time of day, a team member can always help you out. We offer 2-3 training sessions to go along with this role. The first is learning about our policies and how to perform the interview, and the second is practicing your skills and learning the database.
