Spayed, Vaccinated, DOB May 10, 2009. Possum is a lovely kitty that has been awaiting a permanent home for over three years now. Like many other rescue kitties, Possum had a difficult beginning to life and as a result takes longer than usual to trust her new human companions. With lots of patience and love she has been able to let down her guard and enjoy all the benefits of being cared for by her cat lovers. She is an absolute sweetheart and engages well with cat toys and treats. She loves to eat and will let you know when she wants a snack and likes to eat of out your hand. Once comfortable, she enjoys being pet and will lie at the end of the couch and the bed but will not allow herself to be held. Sudden movements and strangers still make her feel uncomfortable but her feline brothers and sisters do a great job of teaching her how to be brave. It is for this reason that Possum must be adopted in to a home with another friendly and accepting cat.
She is one of the most fun and agile foster cats that we’ve ever had the pleasure of taking care of. It has truly been a rewarding experience getting to know and love her.
