We are very sad to share the news that former Toronto Cat Rescue President Ferne Sinkins passed away Wednesday, January 18th, 2017. For decades, Ferne was the go-to person for many people seeking advice, or helping to rescue a cat. Many of us at TCR have stories of some way that Ferne touched our lives personally with the kitties in our homes right now. She always fought hard for better spay/neuter access for the public. We Need YOU!!

TCR does not have a shelter, we have a network of loving foster homes across Toronto, the GTA and Kitchener/Waterloo. Our cats are placed in our volunteer foster homes to await their adoption, which is why foster homes are such an important part of TCR’s program. Each foster home space that we have available represents one more cat that we can assist.
