TCR Happy Tails

Without our amazing adopters, TCR volunteers would not be able to rescue the kitties in need.  Toronto Cat Rescue is often the only hope for a homeless, abandoned, sick or injured cat. We help cats escape situations of abuse, neglect, or imminent euthanasia. We see some terribly sad cases, but happily many of them have positive outcomes thanks to all the caring cat lovers who adopt from us.

Enjoy our gallery of “Happy Tails”.   Whether you adopted your kitty yesterday or years ago, we would love an update on your family.  To have your story posted on our website, please submit your Happy Tail to Michelle – TCR.HappyTails@gmail.com and include: your kitties TCR name, picture and an update.  You could also post a quick update in the “Comments” section on this page.

  1. 8 months ago I adopted a caramel tabico named Glory. I changed her name to Winnie, she was a year old. Every day I come home from work and she greets me at the door. She is a wonderfully social cat, she is curious about new people and has an affinity for shoe boxes. Right now she is curled up in my lap and i am knitting, something I do a lot of, she doesn’t bother with my yarn (thank goodness). She is purring so loudly and I realised that she has improved my life more than I can say. I have only kind words and gratitude to the tcr, for saving my winnie and helping me find the perfect cat.

  2. We are thrilled to have Kojak as part of our family! He is a very fun cat, warm and smart. We adopted him from Petsmart Dec 22, 2012. He is getting bigger as apparently he had a rough start in life. He is eating well, and cuddles with me daily. He has adapted to our home and our dogs. Thanks for bringing us together! Gloria
