Available Cats

Click here to view all of our adoptable cats!

Our adoption fee is $175. Each cat has a two week assessment period in their foster home before being available for adoption. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the medical attention they need and we learn about their personalities, likes & dislikes.
Our fee includes: spay or neuter, vaccination (receive a rabies vaccination, if age appropriate) and includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year.

  1. All senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.
  2. Our adoption fee for a bonded pair is $100 per cat, vs. $175 per cat.

  1. I adopted my kitten, Prim, about a month ago and she is wonderful! I was so impressed with TRC’s adoption process and the commitment of their volunteers. I also appreciated follow up emails and phonecalls from TRC as I am a first time pet owner and always have a million questions. The volunteers I’ve dealt with have been patient and knowledgable. Thank you TRC!! 🙂

  2. I adopted a beautiful black cat that came from London and her name was Elsa. She was very timid until I got her home to my apartment. I took her out of the carrier and introduced her to the litter box in my bathroom. I then coaxed her down the long hall, calling her by her new name, LiLi, she responded well and I picked her up and sat on the bed , telling her that she had probably been abused and I knew what that was like. I told her this place was safe and she wouldn’t have to be afraid anymore. She is now the Queen of my apartment and the joy of my life, gentle and very affectionate. It took awhile but she even meows now, and enjoys when I take her for walks in the hall. Thank you for taking her in and bringing her to Toronto!!
