Available Cats

Click here to view all of our adoptable cats!

Our adoption fee is $175. Each cat has a two week assessment period in their foster home before being available for adoption. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the medical attention they need and we learn about their personalities, likes & dislikes.
Our fee includes: spay or neuter, vaccination (receive a rabies vaccination, if age appropriate) and includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year.

Note:

  1. All senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.
  2. Our adoption fee for a bonded pair is $100 per cat, vs. $175 per cat.

  1. I adopted my cat Joon from TCR & she is the absolute best. The rep from TCR that called me was wonderful & informative, the foster family took great care of Joon & even got a little emotional the day I took her home with me, you can see that everyone involved obviously cares very much about the well-being of all the kitties in their care. Overall a great experience! I recommend them to everyone I know who says they are looking to adopt a cat.

  2. My girlfriend and myself are looking for a friend for our cat named Sassy. It would be nice if we’re accepted to adopt. Hopefully we meet the requirements. Take care!

  3. I’m a foster parent and I fostered a kitten that was rescued by TCR. She had very bad upper respiratory infection, conjunctivitis and bloody diarrhea, to the point she went back to the vet four times to get IV fluid. Thank God she survived! And a nice family adopted her. I’m a vet tech myself, and I’m so amazed to see TCR is so dedicated in saving the lives of animals! If it was a regular shelter (like where I worked before), nobody would spend so much money on vet bills for a tiny a kitten like this. She would have got euthanized long time ago probably. But TCR never gave up. This is indeed a 100% no-kill rescue group. Volunteers working for TCR are amazing, and fostering for TCR is a very rewarding experience too!
