Rescue 100 Cats on #GivingTuesday

There are 100 homeless cats that are in desperate need of our help nearly 1,000 km away.  Cats and kittens of all ages lost or abandoned in rural Quebec, are waiting at a shelter for their furrever home. Let’s get them to Toronto to get all the care they need.

This shelter does it’s very best for these cats but with very few adopters in this area, these cat’s lives are at risk if we don’t take them in before Christmas. They simply can not keep up with the demand, meaning they will need to make some difficult decisions if we are unable to lessen their burden.

Each cat or kitten will need at least a visit to the veterinarian, spay or neuter, vaccinations, and some will need extensive dental work, bloodwork and other diagnostics to ensure we get them as healthy as possible for adoption. We estimate that each cat will cost $125 as a minimum.

If we are able to raise enough funds in time, our hope is to transport 50 cats on December 3rd, and 50 cats on December 15th.

We have great news to share! Once again, a longtime volunteer has stepped up to match every dollar donated! That means every dollar that you donate counts as two. This incredibly generous gift will help us reach our goal even faster.

Toronto Cat Rescue wants to ensure the safe harbour of these precious lives and with your help, we can save them all.
