We Need Your Help To Save Even More Lives

Toronto Cat Rescue’s foster care program provides temporary housing and care for cats and kittens who need some extra love and attention that a shelter environment cannot provide.  In 2014, our network of foster home volunteers helped to save the lives of more than 2200 cats and kittens!   Without them, cats like Bartholomew (pictured here recovering from eye and dental surgery), may not have a chance at adoption.

For Toronto Cat Rescue, the summer brings challenges.  We are always short of foster space because the shelters are overcrowded with kittens, our foster homes get busy with vacations, weddings and other fun things!  There are a line up of cats that are waiting for your help!

We need your help to save even more lives.  Help a cat like Bartholomew recover from surgery, give a mom cat a safe place to raise her babies, let a litter of kittens take over your bathroom while they recover from a cold, help a fat cat lose weight, teach a cat to learn to trust humans again – the needs are endless.  Toronto Cat Rescue provides the medical care, but we need you to provide the love and patience they need.
