Rosie: Hoping Third Time is a Charm
Rosie has been waiting far too long for her forever family. Please share her story far and wide, and let’s find her the home she’s been looking for all along.
Originally rescued as a kitten six years ago, since then Rosie has been returned twice to Toronto Cat Rescue. Always a shy and sensitive girl, Rosie does not like change, yet change from home to home is all she has ever known.
In her last home she was accidentally stepped on during a blackout and after that, she regressed and became more fearful and untrusting of people. Rosie’s mom wasn’t comfortable with her anymore, so she returned her to us.
Rosie is a great cat who just needs someone to understand her.
When she is scared or upset, she can put on quite a show trying to tell people to leave her alone. But she has never hurt anyone and is purely acting out of fear. She needs a home that will give her space when she wants it, but cuddle and love her when she feels comfortable. She’ll let you know when she wants to soak up the love!
Rosie cannot stay in her current foster home because she does not like the other cats. But rather than look for yet another foster home for her, what she really, really needs is a forever home. Her ideal home will be a quiet one without children or other pets. One that will give her time to relax and have patience while she adjusts.
