May is Mom’s Month

Butterscotch2Mother’s Day has come and gone, and kitten season is upon us. What do these two facts have in common, you ask? While Toronto Cat Rescue will be increasing our intake over the coming months and rescuing and adopting out hundreds of kittens, the mothers of these kittens will also accumulate in foster care, waiting for their chance in the spotlight.

All too often a mother cat will watch all of her kittens be adopted within weeks of becoming available, while she will wait for months on end for someone to notice her. In many cases it isn’t until kitten season is over in December or January, almost a full year later, that these mom cats are given a chance.

Let’s put a stop to this endless wait and give mom cats the attention they deserve. After caring for multiple litters of kittens in their previous lives, they deserve a chance to relax and settle down in a permanent home.

Will you open your heart to one of these lovely girls today?

For the month of May only, all of TCR’s mom cats will have a reduced adoption fee of $100. Find them on our available cats list with a star (*) next to their name.

Thank you for saving a life! Moms are awesome!!
