Jimmy: Rescued with 2 Injured Legs
Update: Jimmy’s surgery was extensive. The vet had to operate on both front legs. Jimmy will need one more surgery to repair another part of his arm. If all goes well, sweet Jimmy will be going to his foster home for some loving care on Friday or Saturday. Donations for the surgeries are greatly appreciated.
Jimmy was rescued from a high volume kill-shelter on November 30th. Only a kitten (born April 1, 2011), he was in quite a lot of pain when a couple of TCR volunteers came across him. He was transferred to a vet right away where we learned that one of his front legs is very badly broken and the other leg is also fractured and dislocated. Dear Jimmy will be having surgery and it is estimated to cost more than $1,000. He will be neutered at the same time as well. Any donations would be greatly appreciated for Jimmy’s care. If you are able to contribute to his surgery costs, please donate through Canada Helps. Your generosity is greatly appreciated – all donations $10 or over receive a tax receipt.
Jimmy will also need a forever home as soon as he is on the road to recovery. If you are interested in adopting Jimmy, please call 416-538-8593 and press 1 – this boy needs you!
