Foster Home
Foster homes are the heart of Toronto Cat Rescue. Become a foster parent to cats of all ages and directly help us save more cats!
Adoption Counsellor
Are you interested in helping cats and kittens find their forever homes? Do you like engaging with the public? Then this might be the volunteer role for you! Remote position.
Driver
Why not join us as a volunteer driver? We need drivers in both Toronto and Waterloo Region to help transport cats after rescue, and to help get cats where they need to be for adoption. It’s an enjoyable role to do, and all you need is access to a car to do it!
Store Volunteers
Our in-person store volunteers are vital in ensuring that TCR cats are cared for while at the store. We are currently looking for store volunteers for our Leaside & Milton PetSmart location.
Pet Publicist
In this role, you’ll ensure our adoptable cats get online quickly and accurately, helping them find their forever homes faster. As the Lead Pet Publicist, you’ll be the main point of contact for our posting team, managing quality control, troubleshooting issues, and keeping our adoption listings running smoothly.
Adoption Administrator
Join us as an Adoption Administrator to help us deliver a smooth and efficient adoption process, to help more cats find their forever homes!
Intake Administrator
The Intake Administrator plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in coordinating the safe and efficient intake of cats into TCR’s care by managing data, documentation, and communication across teams. This remote, detail-oriented position requires strong organizational and communication skills, with a daily 1–3 hour commitment and flexible scheduling.

Our Foster Screener’s help check to see if our foster home applicants are eligible to care for a cat. Apply for this essential administrative task that helps us save more lives!
