Help For Cats

Toronto Cat Rescue’s foster homes are consistently full because every time there is a free space, there are hundred cats waiting to fill the spot. In order to help people who have to re-home their cat, we have developed the Owner/Surrender program.  For people who are looking to help stray cats in their neighbourhood, we have the Stray Rescue program.  This is Toronto Cat Rescue’s way of trying to help as many cats as we possibly can with our current resources (remember we are 100% volunteer with no government funding!).

If you would like help with Wild/Feral Cats, please ask us for information and advice!  Feeding feral cats is just one step, it is also important to spay/neuter the cats so that the population does not increase and the cats have the best life possible on the cold, lonely streets of Toronto.

through TNR I trapped and had neutered a ferel cat yesterday.I still have him in his trap recooping as he has what the humane society thinks is a fractured right paw as after 6 weeks when I first noticed it it is still a bit swollen. They told me to contact you to see if it could be x-rayed.I am a senior on a fixed income and appreciate any help I can get to make the cat better to release back in his colony. Please advise.Thank you.PS-This is my first cat to be trapped and I’m not too knowledgeable about what to do in this case so any advice will be appreciated.

Happy needs a new home and fast! She is 13 year old spayed, short haired cat. She is grey with a white tummy, mittens and boots. She is big boned, and has an amazing vibe – very mild mannered and affectionate with people. She is best suited to live in a quiet environment.

I am interested in placing Happy in a foster home; and am hoping someone can take her this weekend as my next option is to surrender her.

    Many thanks, Joy
