Little Tessa has extra toes & a big heart!
Polydactyl Tessa is a gentle, happy little girl. She loves people and is always looking forward to meeting new friends. In the morning, Tessa keeps her foster mom company during breakfast, and then she plays with her favourite catnip mouse. During the afternoon, she has a good long nap, and then she’s ready for more adventures. Tessa is also a very clean cat – she has used her litter box consistently since day one.
A bit like a puppy, Tessa likes to follow her foster mom all around. She also sleeps cuddled up to her foster mom on the bed all night. Tessa isn’t crazy about being picked up, but she is glad to hop up on laps. With such a big purr inside such a tiny body, Tessa charms everyone she meets. She especially loves to rub heads and give little kisses.
Tessa was rescued from a high volume shelter and has really blossomed in foster care… now she just needs her forever family! Hopefully yours!
Tessa was born March 1, 2011 and has been spayed, vaccinated and has tested FeLeuk and FIV negative. To adopt, call us 416-538-8592, press #1 / email us: tcr.adoptions@hotmail.com / fill in our adoption online form on our Adopt A Cat page.

Great Site and beautiful photos. I’ve already left a note on your black and white beauty page, for over the last few years I’ve adopted four “colorful” cats like these you feature. The last two are with me now, beautiful brothers one year old. They not only enjoy my bed, couch, their own room and everything they can steal, knock down and bat around but my heart too. The larger of the pair is my book cat. His image will be on the cover of a fictional book about cats and farm animals coming out this spring. His name is Pounce and I’ll send a signed copy (softbound) to anyone who can name the book for me. They can send their suggestions to my page on facebook. Thanks for loving those black and white rascals, as I’ve always been drawn to them. Nita Berquist, Kent, WA, USA
