Tom Nook’s Rescue Journey ❤️

About Us

Toronto Cat Rescue has been rescuing and rehoming cats and kittens for over 25 years.

A volunteer-powered charity, we save, treat, foster and re-home thousands of cats in critical need of help in Toronto, the GTA, and Kitchener-Waterloo.

We strive every day to provide high-quality treatment to all cats in our care. Every cat deserves a home. We’re here to help them get there.

We’re here every day of every year to rescue and find homes for abandoned, sick or injured cats.

And to do that, we rely on the donations of supporters like you!

Every cat in our care is given whatever’s needed to make sure they’re as healthy as possible before adoption.

Your gift helps cover spay or neuter surgeries, vaccinations, extensive dental work, blood work, emergency surgeries, and more!

Volunteer

Rescuing and rehoming thousands of cats every year takes hundreds of volunteers working alongside our staff leadership.

We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities to engage and inspire you.

We’re always looking for passionate, dedicated people wanting to make a positive change in the community.

Help Save Abandoned Cats

Donate in honour of Matthew, a kitty found tied up and left to die 😿

Matthew, left to die by his owner, was found tied up in bags by a river in Ontario. In less than a week we’d found him a safe new home with a loving family 🏡❤️

We’ve created Matthew’s Fund for Abandoned Cats, to save more cats like Matthew.

With your support we can save many more lives.
